Amy was the photographer at Villa Antiche Mura, Sorrento, Italy for Brian & Laura’s wedding.
Brian & Laura’s wedding was the last for me in 2015 – my biggest and best year of photographing weddings. It was also at a venue that I had grown to love over the years and the one where I generally work more than anywhere else. It was going to be a great end to my season.
I had read a book, that I finished on the train travelling to Sorrento, about a girl who had fallen in love with a Vicar. When Laura told me that Brian was an Irish Minister I just knew that this was going to be an extra-special one. It didn’t disappoint. Laura, Brian and their friends and family were so much fun and welcomed me into their party like a guest. I loved every minute of photographing them and when my time for photographing was up, I put down my cameras and danced the night away with them. The train-journey the next day was … absolutely awful as I nursed the hangover from hell. Hey ho. It was worth it :-)
Another wedding season successfully negotiated and another year of doing my hobby for my job. I’m writing this post as I’ve just finished my 2016 wedding season – my 10th! Here’s to my 11th and the blog posts for this year’s wedding will start soon. Thanks so much to Laura & Brian and huge congratulations on the birth of beautiful little Dylan. Amy xGoogle+
