Wedding Photographer: Sorrento: Greig & Natalie

Amy was the photographer in the Cloisters and at The Foreigner’s Club, Sorrento, Italy for Greig & Natalie’s wedding.

Grieg & Natalie were married at The Cloister’s in Sorrento on a beautiful, sunny day in mid-June. Greig and the boys looked so great in their kilts and caused a stir amongst the locals as they walked through the town. Natalie got ready at a lovely hotel called Grand Hotel La Favorita which had a huge Cocktail Bar that was wonderful to photograph in.

After the ceremony and some time for photographs we headed to The Foreigner’s Club for ‘aperitivi’ and a meal over-looking the Bay of Naples. Take a look:

The trees of Sorrento are full of oranges and lemons at this time of year.

Wedding Photographer: Sorrento: Lee & Katie

Amy was the photographer in the Cloisters and at The Foreigner’s Club, Sorrento, Italy for Lee & Katie’s wedding.

Lee & Katie had the perfect weather for their Sorrento wedding: deep, blue skies and a comfortable 25 degrees. They both got ready at Hotel Conca Park, Katie with her Mum & Sister and Lee with the couple’s 19-month old son Oliver. It was great that I could run between the two and capture them both getting ready before we all headed off to The Cloisters for the ceremony.

Oliver was so excited to see Mummy again that he insisted on being held by Katie whilst she and Lee were exchanging vows. There was time for group photographs and some shots of the couple in the gorgeous Cloisters before we popped into the nearby garden which has amazing views across to the Bay of Naples. There was an enormous cruise ship in the Bay making it look all the more impressive.

The Foreigner’s Club is just a short walk from The Cloisters making it the perfect venue for the reception. Guests enjoyed chatting and nibbling on canapes under the shade of the umbrellas before they were seated for dinner. A perfect day all round. Take a peek:

Wedding Photographer: Sorrento: James & Alex

Amy was the photographer in the Cloisters and at Villa Antiche Mura, Sorrento, Italy for James & Alex’s wedding.

A small gap between weddings and before I knew it I was heading back down south for the wedding of James and Alex in Sorrento. The heat was still hitting the high 30s and the whole coast was so colourful in full flower. James & Alex both got ready at The Hilton Palace, a stunning place high up over-looking the entire town. They made their way separately to The Cloisters – one of my favourite places to photograph a wedding ceremony.

We had some time afterwards for group shots and shots of James & Alex before we headed slightly out-of-town to the beautiful Villa Antiche Mura, a real hidden gem. I struggled to keep hold of my camera throughout the hilarious speeches! As the evening progressed and the guests tucked into their meal, they were all treated to the most beautiful sunset. Take a look:

First Dance

What a day and there’s more to come. I set up a ‘photobooth’ after the first dance and all of the guests came and ‘performed’ for me! It was absolutely hilarious and I promise to share some results with you soon. Thank you so much to James, Alex and all of their lovely family and friends for such a fun day. I’ll be in touch! Amy x
