Wedding Photographer: Certaldo & Il Rosolaccio, San Gimignano, Tuscany: Dan & Jess

Amy was the photographer in Certaldo and at Il Rosolaccio, San Gimignano, Tuscany, Italy for Dan & Jess’s wedding.

Next stop Tuscany and the most beautiful spot half-way between Certaldo & San Gimignano. Il Rosolaccio is a privately-owned villa with incredible views which had been decorated beautifully by the friends and family of Dan & Jess. In fact Jess’s Mum had handmade 140 metres (yes, that’s 140 metres!!) of bunting whilst Dan’s Mum had handmade the blue gingham napkins. I have to say, I have rarely loved a set-up more – it looked fab!

An old Fiat 500 just about got the Bride to the ceremony on time albeit it had to be pushed for the last 100 metres by the ushers! All the guests cheered the boys on and Jess made it. An hour of rain after the ceremony meant that the aperitivi in a local Certaldo bar was mainly inside but it soon cleared up and made for the most gorgeous evening as you’ll see …

Make sure that Certaldo is on your list if you come to Tuscany, it’s a stunning little place.

I love this shot of Dan.

Gorgeous sun-flower bouquet.

Jess’s sister Charlie is asked to stand during the speeches as she is told by Jess what a truly awful Bridesmaid she has been in the run-up to the big day. Lol!

Whilst Dan tells his Mum what a great lady she is.

One of my favourite cake shots ever.

Hope you two have a brilliant time at the Monaco Grand Prix – just a bit jealous. You were truly wonderful, as were your friends and family. I hope you love these – there are many, many more to come very soon. – Amy.

Wedding photographer: Castello di Montegufoni, Tuscany, Italy: Stan & Silvia

Andy & Amy were wedding photographers at Castello di Montegufoni, Tuscany, Italy for the wedding of Stan & Silvia.

Sunday saw us in a particularly stunning part of Tuscany between San Gimignano and Firenze (Florence) at Castello di Montegufoni for Stan & Silvia’s wedding.  It’s not difficult for a wedding photographer to appreciate just why so many people choose destinations like this for their big day – which combine a beautiful venue with great food and a kind climate.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves amongst the mix of cultures and languages and we’re really excited about the album – it’s going to be one of our all-time favourites!

On with the images:

Just married – a lovely moment as they walked down the aisle.

Aperitivi were served in this incredible room.

During a break in the meal (there are many, many courses in Italy!) – the smokers on the courtyard balcony.

Hilarity during the speeches!

We love this image during the first dance.

That’s it for now.  Thanks to Stan & Silvia for looking after us so considerately – it was a pleasure to be with you on your wedding day. A&A x
