Wedding Photographer: Positano & Villa Antiche Mura, Sorrento: Franklin & Sharon

Amy was the photographer at Positano and Villa Antiche Mura, Sorrento, Italy for Franklin & Sharon’s wedding.

I think I need a holiday-home in Sorrento! I was there again :-) This time for the wedding of gorgeous Irish couple, Franklin & Sharon. Both the Bride and Groom got ready at the Hotel Bellevue Syrene, one of Sorrento’s most beautiful hotels. Sharon’s dress was to die for and the Bridesmaids’ dresses were nearly as gorgeous! I’ve uploaded a folder of images to my Facebook page and you wouldn’t believe how many comments I’ve had about the dresses!

We went over to Positano for the ceremony and the stunning church, Santa Maria Assunta before heading back to Sorrento and my favourite place, Villa Antiche Mura. Michele, villa owner and top wedding planner, is brilliant and to me, this really is the best venue choice for a wedding in Sorrento. Take a look:

Wedding Photographer: Positano: Brendon & Anna

Amy was the wedding photographer in Positano, Amalfi Coast, Italy for Brendon & Anna’s wedding.

Positano’s stunning. I was there again just 2 days after David & Sarah’s wedding at Lake Garda so talk about travelling the length and breadth of Italy! Brendon & Anna live in New York although Anna’s Mum is Polish which meant for a great international party and family reunion.

The ceremony took place in the beautiful Church of Santa Maria Assunta, the dominant church close to the beach in Positano. After the ceremony, we took a boat trip before heading back to Positano for group photographs and some time for photographs with Brendon & Anna.

Music on the Rocks played host for drinks and nibbles before we headed upstairs to Le Terrazze for the evening reception. Really impressive places! Take a peek:

Wedding Photographer: Ravello & Palazzo Murat, Positano: Kristian & Clare

Amy was the wedding photographer in Ravello & Palazzo Murat, Positano, Amalfi Coast, Italy for Kristian & Clare’s wedding.

The day after John & Sema’s wedding on the island of Ischia, I hot-footed it back to the Amalfi Coast and to the dual-location wedding of Kristian & Clare. The Bride & Groom both got ready in different hotels in Positano before travelling along the beautiful Amalfi coastline to gorgeous Ravello to celebrate the wedding ceremony. Time for photographs in the main piazza afterwards before guests were surprised to a boat-ride from Amalfi harbour back to Positano. It was a bumpy ride but spectacular!

In Positano guests enjoyed ‘aperitivi’ and an evening meal and party at the stunning Palazzo Murat. Here we go:

Wedding Photographer: Positano Town Hall & Villa Antiche Mura, Sorrento: Matthew & Lucienne

Amy was the photographer at Positano Town Hall & Villa Antiche Mura, Sorrento, Italy for Matthew & Lucienne’s wedding.

I had extra pressure on me for this big day as Matthew & Lucy had changed their venue to Villa Antiche Mura because of my glowing recommendation! I was so relieved and happy that they absolutely loved it. Well, how could anybody not?! The setting, the Villa, the food, the sunset, the staff … everything is perfect.

The Bride & Groom both got ready in Sorrento and travelled around the coast to Positano Town Hall for their wedding ceremony. We travelled back to Sorrento and to the beautiful Villa Antiche Mura for an evening of food, drinks, fun and laughter. A beautiful and memorable occasion:

Wedding Photographer: Positano: Dave & Mirella

Amy was the wedding photographer in Positano, Amalfi Coast, Italy for Dave & Mirella’s wedding.

My final trip of this year’s wedding season down to the Amalfi Coast was for the wedding of Dave & Mirella in the stunning little town of Positano. I’m so lucky to have got to know this gorgeous little town so well over the years but it still never fails to bowl me over as you stand back and see the town literally falling down the cliff and into the sea. I really do love it.

Australian couple Dave & Mirella married at the Town Hall and then we all went for a walk and photo-shoot around the town. We made our way up to the stunning Marincanto Hotel for aperitivi, cake, speeches and a few more group shots before we headed up into the hills to a restaurant called La Tagliata. Here we go, take a look:

Beautiful Positano.
