Amy was the wedding photographer at Kew Gardens, London for Dave & Michelle’s wedding.
I can’t tell you just how excited I was to fly to London and photograph a wedding at Kew Gardens. How could the Royal Botanic Gardens not make the perfect location to get married?? Not only that but I was very much looking forward to be part of Dave & Michelle’s big day since the last time I saw Dave was 17 years before in the school library!
The Nash Conservatory is very elegant and the lightest indoor place I have ever photographed a ceremony. Dave, Michelle and I were driven around in a buggy for a while after the ceremony stopping at some beautiful places for photographs whilst the guests enjoyed drinks and canapés in the impressive Princess of Wales Conservatory. After that we moved to The Orangery – a stunning building with a white interior and exterior. The whole day was really sensational. Look:
An elegant affair.
Dave, his Best Man and the Groomsmen arrive at the Nash Conservatory.
Dave with Mum & Dad – fellow Warringtonians!
I love this one of Michelle’s Mum waiting for her daughter to arrive.
The bridesmaids arrive next.
Here comes the Bride!
Signed and sealed!
Congratulations.
We had a little time after the ceremony to go back into the Nash Conservatory. Stunning.
Due to the cold spring this year, the colours weren’t quite as prominent as they should have been, but it’s still a beautiful place.
Love this one – look at the colour of that building!
I think this is a laburnum. Please let me know if I’m wrong!
… and Dave kisses Michelle like never before …
A wonderful tree! (With The Orangery in the background.)
The clouds gathered and helped me with this shot!
Table detail.
Inventive table plan.
The heavens opened – I got quite wet getting this one!
I love it when the Bride does a speech too!
Fun with bubbles between courses.
First Dance .. let’s get the party started!
What an experience. Huge thanks to Dave and Michelle for choosing me. Amy x
