Wedding Photographer: Sorrento: Lee & Katie

Amy was the photographer in the Cloisters and at The Foreigner’s Club, Sorrento, Italy for Lee & Katie’s wedding.

Lee & Katie had the perfect weather for their Sorrento wedding: deep, blue skies and a comfortable 25 degrees. They both got ready at Hotel Conca Park, Katie with her Mum & Sister and Lee with the couple’s 19-month old son Oliver. It was great that I could run between the two and capture them both getting ready before we all headed off to The Cloisters for the ceremony.

Oliver was so excited to see Mummy again that he insisted on being held by Katie whilst she and Lee were exchanging vows. There was time for group photographs and some shots of the couple in the gorgeous Cloisters before we popped into the nearby garden which has amazing views across to the Bay of Naples. There was an enormous cruise ship in the Bay making it look all the more impressive.

The Foreigner’s Club is just a short walk from The Cloisters making it the perfect venue for the reception. Guests enjoyed chatting and nibbling on canapes under the shade of the umbrellas before they were seated for dinner. A perfect day all round. Take a peek:

Wedding Photographer: Villa Antiche Mura, Sorrento: Ben & Claire

Amy was the photographer at Villa Antiche Mura, Sorrento, Italy for Ben & Claire’s wedding.

I was really looking forward to photographing a wedding at Villa Antiche Mura in Sorrento for the second time this summer. It’s such a beautiful venue that caters for weddings both indoors and out with a wonderful view of the Bay of Naples. Guests were completely blown away by the stunning views.

Ben & Claire both got ready at the Grand Hotel Aminta and then travelled separately to Villa Antiche Mura for the ceremony and reception. Claire more than stole the show in her breath-taking Vera Wang dress and whist fears of rain showers threatened all day, it held off and in fact made for a wonderfully dramatic sky as dusk fell.

We all had great fun doing the Photobooth too but I’ll do a separate post about that at a later date. Here we go:

Wedding Photographer: Lucignano & Villa Paradiso, Arezzo, Tuscany: Jonathan & Hannah

Amy was the wedding photographer at Lucignano & Villa Paradiso, Arezzo, Tuscany, Italy for Jonathan & Hannah’s wedding.

The day after Paul & Carrie’s wedding I photographed the beautiful wedding of Jonathan & Hannah. The weather had changed over night and we all woke up to a very black Tuscany. However, it cleared beautifully and the sun came out at exactly the right time making for a very comfortable temperature. Villa Paradiso played host during the wedding reception and in fact, was where the family were staying for the week – a very impressive Villa very close to Arezzo (and just 30 minutes from where I live.) The party travelled the short journey to the wonderful little town of Lucignano for the ceremony. I absolutely loved the room in which the ceremony took place – so beautifully lit.

Jonathan & Hannah had driven over to Italy so that they could bring everything that made their wedding day perfect and believe me, they didn’t forget a thing! From hiring an old-fashioned type-writer to display on a desk where cards, gifts and messages could be left, to some very tasty ‘infusion’ jars. The day before her wedding, Hannah even baked and displayed cup cakes for all of the guests to enjoy! They looked amazing! Here we go, take a look:
