Andy & Amy were the wedding photographers at Statham Lodge, Cheshire, UK for the wedding of Mike & Kerry.
It’s been a little while since we updated our blog – we’ve had some travelling to do! On Saturday we were in Cheshire for Mike & Kerry’s wedding at St John’s in Walton followed by the reception at Statham Lodge. As Mike & Kerry were getting ready within just a couple of miles of each other, Amy & I split up – Amy went to Kerry’s parents’ house to photograph the bridal preparations & I went to Statham Lodge to meet up with Mike & his best men – Alex & Kostas. Everyone was surprisingly relaxed – the vicar was wonderful & they had a superb band in the evening. We’ve got some really great images as a result. Here are a few straight out of camera:
Kerry’s sister Sarah did her makeup beautifully.
I like the shirt & tie combination.
The groom (middle) & best men.
Kerry with her Dad. Mum in the doorway.
Little Evis didn’t want his photograph taken – until he saw the back of the camera! This was a pose he wanted himself: “my angry face” which was closely followed by the “tiger face” :)
Outside the church surrounded by friends & family.
The evening fun got underway with the first dance, followed shortly afterwards by the ‘money dance’. What a great tradition!
There are loads more where these came from. Thanks for having us folks – it was great (although I think I ate too much chocolate!) Thanks also to Kelly & the staff at Statham Lodge for looking after us. – Andy
