Well, we’ve just got home after travelling back from ‘scorching’ Sicily after photographing Andrew & Mara’s wedding in Monreale. We have had an amazing experience with a wonderful couple & their families & friends. Folks, thank you so much for including us in your day and for your kind gift. The meal was gorgeous & we must also thank the guests with whom we sat for their company. I’m not sure I’ll ever get over the temperature during the wedding – I’m quite certain I’ve never been so hot in my life but we’ve got some great shots to share with you now and there are lots more to follow. Enjoy your honeymoon – we’re very envious!
On with the images:
“would you mind standing here whilst doing your tie!” ;)
Mara, her Mum & friends on their way to the Comune through the town.
“Si!” Laughter all-round.
We love arches!
Early evening & a sunflower in front of the beautiful villa.
Robert & his beautiful fiancee Irina are to be married in July. Their photographer is obviously going to have a hard time getting great shots of them ;) Best of luck folks – enjoy every minute of it!
Ciao! – AT
Here you go – a very rapid selection of images from our wedding day. David will ‘work’ his images in his own special way so we’ve done very little to them other than crop them and resize them for the blog. We’ve left the ‘arty’ ones for him to show – these are just a VERY small selection of hundreds of incredible images!
Thank you so much David – we can’t stop grinning and these really are scratching the surface of what’s to come!! – A&A
We were married on Thursday 14th June 2007 in Orvieto. We have had a FANTASTIC time and with an amazing group of family & friends and the wonderful Italian residents of Orvieto. We’re completely shattered but we’ve just spent some time looking through the images that our incredible photographer has captured and we’re absolutely humbled. David A Williams is an absolute genius and the way that he integrated with and ‘entertained’ all of our guests over the entire week was wonderful. If you need a wedding photographer – he is your man although you’ll have to fly him from Australia to do it. Thanks for everything David, we love you mate xx. We’ll post some images when we’ve at least a second to ourselves. As it is, we’re off to Sicily for Andrew & Mara’s wedding. Back soon! – AT
Rob & Vicky were married yesterday in Chester and had their reception in Pulford. It was a baking-hot, sunny day which invariably leaves us looking for shade for both the cool & the ‘flatter’ light. We had as good a time as the guests (although we didn’t drink anything like the amount of cider they did!!) Have a great honeymoon folks, we’ll speak to you when you’re home by which time we’ll also be Mr & Mrs ;) Here’s a couple of images – not even processed as we’re away from home but a taste of things to come:
The lovely Vicky, still at home at this point.
Lovely light and a lovely moment during the ceremony.
The reception room was beautifully coordinated.
Ciao for now! -AT
Our local town had a ‘festa’ recently ending with a HUGE fireworks display on the final night. It was hosted at the Convent by our house and we had an amazing view from the front door across the fields. I scurried inside for a camera but the only one handy had the 70-200mm lens – not really wide enough to catch the scale of the display but we still got some lovely shots. These were by far the loudest fireworks either of us have ever heard!
We’re now getting our kit together and looking forward to Rob & Vicky’s wedding on Saturday! -AT
