Amy was the photographer in the Cloisters, Sorrento and at Palazzo Marziale, Sorrento, Italy for Gavin & Annemarie’s wedding.
The day after my wedding in Certaldo, I travelled to beautiful Sorrento for the wedding of Gavin & Annemarie from Swansea. The grey clouds beckoned as I approached and rain was forecast but, as luck would have it, blue sky won over and the weather got better and better as the day progressed.
Annemarie looked absolutely beautiful. Such class and elegance – her wedding ‘look’ was truly wonderful. I’m a real fan of Sorrento’s ‘Cloisters of San Francesco.’ The greenery and arches of the Cloisters make for so many great photo opportunities which I made the most of after the ceremony. Meanwhile, the guests made their way directly across the road to the stunning Palazzo Marziale.
Both Gavin & Annemarie were so relaxed, nothing was too formal and the guests had an absolute ball. Here we go:
Clouds gather over Sorrento. Taken from Sorrento’s Grand Hotel Capodimonte where Gavin & Annemarie both got ready.
The red soles …
I absolutely love this shot. Simply stunning.
Taken in the lift!
Love this one as Annemarie arrives at the top of the aisle.
The Cloisters of San Francesco, Sorrento – a great place to marry.
I take this shot at every single wedding but not many make the cut for the blog – really love this one though.
Making the most of the Cloisters’ wonderful light after the ceremony.
Wide-angle detail makes a change.
Peeking through. Palazzo Marziale’s interior was something very special.
The hairdresser with a few of her models!
The boyz & galz.
Taking their seats for the wedding breakfast.
We took a few minutes out between courses to catch the sun-setting. Vesuvius is there somewhere!
This one cracks me up. Of course, he didn’t dare!!
Dancing the night away.
What a wonderful day. Thank you for making me feel so welcome. I’ll be back in just a day or two with the details to access your complete gallery. – Amy xGoogle+
