Andy & Amy were the wedding photographers at Palazzo Viviani, Castello di Montegridolfo, Emilia Romagna, Italy for the wedding of Kevin & Aurora.
After a couple of showery days in Emilia-Romagna, the weather returned to normal (i.e. dry & sunny) just in time for Kevin & Aurora’s wedding on Saturday. Both they and their guests were staying at the incredible Palazzo Viviani in Castello di Montegridolfo and they travelled to the nearby San Donato church in Belvedere Fogliense for their ceremony before returning to the Castello for the reception.
Irish weddings are always incredibly lively & this was no exception. It really was a superbly-organized day and if Kevin ever opted for a different career, he’d make a great wedding planner!
On with just a few glimpses of the day:
The Groom.
When we arrived, Kevin said that Amy had the easy job. He wasn’t wrong. Simply beautiful.
The stunning dress.
Aurora seen by her brother for the first time in her dress.
Fast forward to after the ceremony – a wedding full of characters!
We absolutely love a couple of images taken whilst Kevin & Aurora ‘took a breather’ outside the church – giving their guests a head-start back to the Castello di Montegridolfo.
Beautiful light. I managed to avoid getting run-over whilst lying in the road taking this.
Back at the Castello, I noticed that Aurora had vanished. On looking down a tiny alley-way, I noticed her having her hair tidied.
Guests posing for a photo.
Table decoration detail.
A reflective moment during the speeches.
Surprise fireworks (for everyone but Kevin) towards the end of the evening.
Wow – what a beautiful day and a venue we’d highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect wedding location. Back to the album design! – Andy
