Wedding Photographer: Jesus Church, Troutbeck & Merewood Country House Hotel: Lake Windermere: David & Jenny

Amy was the wedding photographer at Merewood Country House Hotel, Lake Windermere, UK for David & Jenny’s wedding.

So, I flew to the UK on Tuesday the 24th of April and it was raining. It rained (poured down) on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday … and Sunday and then I flew back to Italy. But the Saturday. The Saturday was the most beautiful, clear blue sky, warm, sunny day and I was in the Lakes. Yey! What a perfect, stunning day it was. Couldn’t have been better. Absolutely loved every minute of it.

David & Jenny were married at Jesus Church in the pretty village of Troutbeck. The reception was held at the Merewood Country House Hotel and everything was just fabulous. Take a peek:

  1. Amy, I’m beginning to think the sun is under your command. Brilliant photographs as always. From Italy to the Uk you capture the essence of the wedding day with a little bit of magic.

  2. So kind Francis – thanks. However, my luck well and truly ran out yesterday as the Bride, Groom and me got completely soaked in the centre of Siena. Not just a little bit of rain – an absolute pour down right at the wrong moment! The Bride couldn’t walk in her shoes either, so I have shots of a bare-footed Bride running across Siena’s main piazza! I bet you’ll be looking forward to my next bLOG post now!
