Wedding photographer: Castello di Vincigliata, Fiesole, Tuscany, Italy: James & Victoria

Andy & Amy were the wedding photographers at Castello di Vincigliata, Fiesole, Tuscany, Italy for the wedding of James & Victoria.

Thanks to Kathryn Lloyd Wedding Design, the wedding of James and Victoria was perfectly planned down to the most minor detail. The ceremony in the Duomo of Fiesole was spectacular despite the pouring rain outside. On to Castello di Vincigliata, just outside of Fiesole; truly one of the most exquisite venues that we have ever had the pleasure of photographing. It was actually quite difficult to photograph, giving any kind of scale, without the luxury of a helicopter but I think the photographs of it further down the page show just how beautiful it is:

James making the final touches.

And Victoria’s final touches – such beautiful light in this photograph.

The Duomo in Fiesole is very dramatic. The priests in Italy are always so accommodating to us photographers :-)

A lovely shot of the newly-weds exiting the church – the rain had stopped!

James’s Mum was so happy all day long.

A ‘Kathryn Lloyd’ touch: no mine-sweeping allowed!

A formal shot taken from a great angle – something a bit different.

The girls (including Ewa, the bridesmaid) kept themselves entertained with their DS games all day long. Kids!

Castello di Vincigliata – what a venue!

Straight after the cake was cut the fireworks started – spectacular!

The courtyard looked fabulous for the evening party. The theme went from traditional to modern with large white globe lights and huge cushions.

Beautiful, beautiful wedding, perfectly planned and the incredible thunderstorm just before the ceremony will also be well remembered! – Amy
