Wedding Photographer: Casale de’Pasquinelli, Lucca: Anthony & Meghan

Amy was the wedding photographer at Casale de’Pasquinelli, Lucca, Tuscany, Italy for Anthony & Meghan’s wedding.

Anthony, Meghan and their family and friends had travelled from the US to celebrate this beautiful wedding in my favourite Italian city, Lucca. With lots of time in the city for photographs after the ceremony, I was in my element. The open-air ceremony was in the stunning garden of Palazzo Pfanner – certainly worth the entrance fee if you’re ever in Lucca.

We drove about 20 minutes to the north of the city into the mountains to Casale de’pasquinelli. Take a look:

Wedding Photographer: Certosa di Pontignano & Villa Catignano, Tuscany: Nigel & Brenda

Amy was the wedding photographer at Certosa di Pontignano and Villa Catignano, Tuscany, Italy for Nigel & Brenda’s wedding.

Villa Catignano is one of my favourite venues and certainly one that I recommend regularly. I love the colours of the buildings, the rustic charm and the elegant gardens. Nigel & Brenda had their ceremony just a few miles down the road from the villa at Certosa di Pontignano. A beautiful church with cloisters and a very special chapel.

I have to say that professionally, I think that this wedding is one of the best that I ever produced. The light, backgrounds and wonderful style of the Bride just all came together beautifully. Take a look:

Wedding Photographer: Casa Cornacchi, Tuscany: Chris & Sarah

Amy was the wedding photographer at Casa Cornacchi, Tuscany, Italy for Chris & Sarah’s wedding.

… And so the heatwave continued on .. an on .. and on .. until .. the wettest of wet days in beautiful Tuscany when it all turned grey, the storms were violent and the rain poured heavier than ever before. The wonderful wedding of Chris & Sarah and the very beautiful Casa Cornacchi: despite the soggy nature of the day, the wedding was absolutely full of fun, laughter and tears and indeed the weather did behave for the key bits of the day. Take a look:

Casa Cornacchi, a wonderful venue and snapped as the clouds cleared.

Wedding Photographer: Villa Scopetello, Tuscany: Max & Ali

Amy was the wedding photographer at Villa Scopetello, Tuscany, Italy for Max & Ali’s wedding.

Max & Ali chose Lucignano for their ceremony venue. A very pretty little town not too far from the border with Umbria in the province of Arezzo (near my house!) The Town Hall room is absolutely beautiful and photographs around the town after the ceremony were a real treat. The wedding party and the reception was held at Villa Scopetello, close to Lucignano. Completely renovated in the last decade and a very impressive place. I have decided to go with the Album Pages again for this blog post. Enjoy!

Wedding Photographer: Casale Cardini, Foiano della Chiana, Tuscany: Robert & Arabella

Amy was the wedding photographer at Casale Cardini, Foiano della Chiana, Tuscany, Italy for Robert & Arabella’s wedding.

For early June, this day was absolutely burning hot. The beginning of the heat-wave which went on to be one of the hottest summers on record in Italy. Robert & Arabella had chosen a beautiful house to act as host to their wedding ceremony and reception close to the town of Foiano della Chiana in Tuscany. The courtyard was flooded in very strong light for the entire day until the sun set directly opposite the ceremony and reception location. We had a little respite from the blaze when a small group of us went into the town of Foiano so that Robert & Arabella could sign the official register. I had a little time for a wonderful photo shoot in amongst the ancient streets and used the shade to full effect whilst I had some! Take a look:

The heat was a killer and the strong sunlight was challenging at times but it was a wonderful day, organised impeccably by Elia and his great team from Super Tuscan Wedding Planners. Thank you Robert & Arabella. Amy x
