Wedding Photographer: Ravello: Andy & Gemma

Amy was the wedding photographer in Ravello, Amalfi Coast, Italy for Andy & Gemma’s wedding.

Andy & Gemma chose to have a very private, intimate wedding and I was lucky enough to be invited along! Just the 2 of them and both sets of parents attended. Gemma got ready in the lovely Villa Fraulo which is perfectly placed just a few steps away from where the ceremony took place in Ravello’s beautiful garden. To be honest, the entire town is like a garden – such colourful flowers filling every nook and cranny whilst alleyways and narrow streets are blooming. After the ceremony, photographs and a glass of prosecco in the local bar, we headed down to Amalfi for a few more photographs before I waved off the wedding party as they sailed into the sunset!

Here we go:

Wedding Photographer: Ravello & Palazzo Murat, Positano: Kristian & Clare

Amy was the wedding photographer in Ravello & Palazzo Murat, Positano, Amalfi Coast, Italy for Kristian & Clare’s wedding.

The day after John & Sema’s wedding on the island of Ischia, I hot-footed it back to the Amalfi Coast and to the dual-location wedding of Kristian & Clare. The Bride & Groom both got ready in different hotels in Positano before travelling along the beautiful Amalfi coastline to gorgeous Ravello to celebrate the wedding ceremony. Time for photographs in the main piazza afterwards before guests were surprised to a boat-ride from Amalfi harbour back to Positano. It was a bumpy ride but spectacular!

In Positano guests enjoyed ‘aperitivi’ and an evening meal and party at the stunning Palazzo Murat. Here we go:

Wedding Photographer: Hotel Parsifal, Ravello: John & Anna

Amy was the wedding photographer at Hotel Parsifal, Ravello, Amalfi Coast, Italy for John & Anna’s wedding.

I absolutely love the town of Ravello. I suppose if I was forced to choose my favourite, then Ravello would be it. John and Anna came over from the States to get married there in a very intimate, romantic evening affair. Everything was perfect for them – the weather, the town was in bloom, the drink flowed and the food was fabulous.

After the ceremony in the Gardens, we went to Hotel Parsifal and its wonderful garden terrace. The party ate on a beautiful balcony over-looking the Amalfi Coast as the sun went down. Take a look:

Wedding Photographer: Villa Eva, Ravello, Amalfi Coast: Mark & Linzi

Amy was the wedding photographer at Villa Eva, Ravello, Amalfi Coast, Italy for Mark & Linzi’s wedding.

Having photographed many weddings in Ravello, I still hadn’t had the chance to photograph one in Ravello’s stunning cathedral, until now. Thank you so much to Mark & Linzi for giving me this chance and of course, the opportunity of photographing at Ravello’s beautiful Villa Eva for the second time this summer.

Mark got ready at The Giordano Hotel whilst just up the alleyway in Villa Maria, Linzi and her bridesmaids got ready. Close enough for me to skip between the two without losing too much time. The walk down to the Cathedral with the girls was great fun and the grandeur of the Duomo interior didn’t disappoint. After the ceremony, drinks in the piazza and some family photographs, we walked back up the path to the lovely Villa Eva. Here we go, have a nosey:

Wedding Photographer: Villa Eva, Ravello, Amalfi Coast: John & Fiona

Amy was the wedding photographer at Villa Eva, Ravello, Amalfi Coast, Italy for John & Fiona’s wedding.

From Orvieto, I travelled down to Ravello for the wedding of John & Fiona. The beautiful weather turned to thunder storms but in fact made it pretty magical. The noise of the rain during the ceremony was phenomenal but as soon as the doors were opened and John & Fiona made their exit the sun came out – don’t you just love those moments!

Fiona got ready at the beautiful Villa Fraulo and the ceremony was at Santa Maria Gradillo: a church with a very unique interior. Due to the rain, drinks in the square were moved to a local bar that actually made it a more private affair and preferable to John & Fiona. We found time to enter into the wonderful Villa Rufolo for photographs. If you’re visiting Ravello, Villa Rufolo is definitely worth the entrance fee.

After that we met up with the guests again and made our way to Villa Eva, another stunning Villa with wonderful views overlooking Maiori and the rest of the Amalfi Coast. Such a chilled-out couple and a very memorable day. Here we go:

Well, Brides & Grooms don’t come much more relaxed than you two! You didn’t even care that it was raining! So long as you didn’t get wet in your Cabriolet around Tuscany! Hope you had a great time. I’ll be in touch very soon with the access details for the rest of your gallery. Thanks for everything, Amy x
