We flew back to the UK on Thursday for Nigel & Lisa’s wedding in the village church at Bunbury followed by their reception at Peckforton Castle. The church is absolutely stunning – if you’re ever passing this village make sure you go and have a look. Peckforton Castle has become an extremely popular wedding venue – and it’s easy to see why although the interior is extremely dark (in photographic terms) so we were thankful for our fast lenses (and some occasional help from our video light!)
Here’s a taster of what we got.
Wow! A lovely shot of Amy’s from the morning. I decided to soften it slightly to compliment the little flower girl and the lighting.
Now that’s a first kiss!
There were some birthdays to celebrate – the three subjects seen here. I like the way that they’re framed – it looks like a heart to me.
Nigel & Lisa back at Peckforton Castle.
I moved a ‘very’ heavy table & some chairs so that we could do this shot in the great hall in between meal courses. Definitely worth the effort.
Because it was soooo dark, I lit the first dance with video light whilst Amy shot it. I love this – the opposite camera focus-assist, lens flare, colours & the little girl doing her own ‘thing’ :)
