Wedding Photographer: Malcesine Castle & Al Corsaro, Lake Garda: Matthew & Dinah

Amy was the wedding photographer at Malcesine Castle & Al Corsaro, Lake Garda, Italy for Matthew & Dinah’s wedding.

No sooner did I land back into Umbria and I packed up the car for Lake Garda and Malcesine, which I now know like the back of my hand! Malcesine Castle followed by a reception at Al Corsaro was the order of the day for the intimate, romantic and emotional wedding day of Matthew & Dinah. Laughter and tears all day long but over all, a very, very happy day.

Matthew, all ready and waiting for Dinah to arrive.

And here she is!

Dinah’s son gave her away and gave her a hand getting up the steps to the terrace in Malcesine Castle!

A painting of my photograph

A little spin-off tale from the wedding of Phil & Eve. Eve’s sister Jenny has recently had a big birthday and received a very special gift. A portrait painting copied from a photograph of their daughters that I took at Phil & Eve’s wedding. This is a first for me and I love the way that people use my photographs in so many creative ways :-)

The talented artist is called Jonathan Henson, a part-time artist who will take commissions for this kind of work. Isn’t it great?

Wedding Photographer: Halle St Peters, Manchester: Phil & Eve

Amy was the wedding photographer at Halle St Peters, Manchester, UK for Phil & Eve’s wedding.

So, my second wedding in the week that I was in the UK in August was a very special one for me. It’s not often that I photograph family or friends but this time, the Bride was someone that I had known from the day that she was born. Our parents were and are still best friends. I love weddings where I already know so many people – including my own parents of course :-)

Halle St Peters in the Ancoats area of Manchester is a wonderful venue. A deconsecrated church, it actually provides rehearsal and recording space for the Orchestra as well as hosting community projects and obviously, weddings. What I especially loved was the area. It’s up-and-coming but not yet hip-and-trendy. It’s industrial and gritty and I LOVED photographing in the surrounding streets. This was a really beautiful album so, in order to see more images, I am showing album pages again:
