Wedding Photographer: Polpenazze Church & Isola del Garda, Lake Garda: Harry & Kate

Amy was the wedding photographer at Polpenazze Church & Isola del Garda, Lake Garda, Italy for Harry & Kate’s wedding.

It would be bad of me to suggest that certain weddings become my ‘favourites.’ I honestly do enjoy each and every one of them. However, well, this one really was one of the absolute stand-out weddings from the 350+ that I have photographed over the last 10 years. Take a look, I think you’ll see why. The most beautiful church for the ceremony followed by a reception on a private island. Really though, I photograph weddings at many wonderful places but it’s the people that make it. Harry & Kate: you were a dream:

Polpenazze is a little town on the south-western shore of Lake Garda. It’s got rather a nice church.

Wedding Photographer: Malcesine Castle & Casa degli Spiriti, Lake Garda: Jonathan & Laura

Amy was the wedding photographer at Malcesine Castle & Casa degli Spiriti, Lake Garda, Italy for Jonathan & Laura’s wedding.

Just a few short days at home with my girls and I was back up to Malcesine, Lake Garda. Lucky I like it there! This time Jonathan & Laura, child-hood sweethearts from the North East were getting married at Malcesine Castle. After the ceremony we made our way up the mountain-side to the most wonderful spot and the very beautiful restaurant, Casa degli Spiriti. The views from so high really are breath-taking and Laura had such a huge smile on her face for the entire day that this wedding was an absolute pleasure to capture. Take a look:

Wedding photographer: Malcesine Castle & La Vecchia Malcesine, Lake Garda, Italy: Elliott & Amy

Amy was the wedding photographer at Malcesine Castle & La Vecchia Malcesine, Lake Garda, Italy for the wedding of Elliott & Amy.

My first trip of many up to Lake Garda in 2015 and in particular to the pretty little town of Malcesine near to the top of the Lake. Malcesine Castle is a super-popular place to marry which is no surprise as it’s in a breathtakingly-beautiful spot! Elliott & Amy had a really fun day in a very elegant and classy way. I think Amy would have looked elegant in a bin-bag to be honest! See here:

Complete Galleries & Favourites 2015

When you’re researching your Wedding Photographer, one of the most important things that you should do is to look through a handful of ‘Complete Weddings.’ It’s all too easy for photographers to put up their ‘best of’ from over the years but the consistency of complete weddings is what it’s all about. I have just updated mine (finally!) You can see them here.

I have also recently published my ‘Favourite Images 2015.’ Enjoy!

Wedding Photographer: Grand Hotel Riviera, Villa Alba & Villa Fiordaliso, Gardone Riviera, Lake Garda: Victor & Anna

Amy was the wedding photographer at Villa Alba & Villa Fiordaliso, Gardone Riviera, Lake Garda, Italy for Victor & Anna’s wedding.

Victor & Anna chose not 1 but 2 outstanding villas for their wedding day on the western shores of Lake Garda, near to the town of Gardone Riviera. Villa Alba was chosen as host to the ceremony. A beautiful room which was decorated with the most amazing floral displays. Just across the road was where the reception took place in the boathouse of Villa Fiordaliso. A wonderful tower and beautiful grounds right on the side of the Lake made for a very impressive backdrop to the proceedings. The food was especially noteworthy with huge platters of oysters amongst lots of other exquisite-looking goodies and, without doubt, Anna looked totally gorgeous in her gown. Take a look:
