Wedding Photographer: Villa Balbianello, Lake Como: Greg & Laura

Amy was the wedding photographer at Villa Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy for Greg & Laura’s wedding.

How lucky was I to get to go back to Villa Balbianello just 2 weeks after John & Jade’s wedding! There I was again for the beautiful wedding of Greg & Laura. The forecast was terrible so they were so lucky that they didn’t get any rain. In fact, for me it was great as the light was really beautiful. We were all just a bit cold!

Laura wore a beautiful vintage-style dress and had put so much into her big day designing and creating the impressive Order of Service and the Table Plan amongst other things. Take a peek:

Wedding Photographer: Kew Gardens, London: Dave & Michelle

Amy was the wedding photographer at Kew Gardens, London for Dave & Michelle’s wedding.

I can’t tell you just how excited I was to fly to London and photograph a wedding at Kew Gardens. How could the Royal Botanic Gardens not make the perfect location to get married?? Not only that but I was very much looking forward to be part of Dave & Michelle’s big day since the last time I saw Dave was 17 years before in the school library!

The Nash Conservatory is very elegant and the lightest indoor place I have ever photographed a ceremony. Dave, Michelle and I were driven around in a buggy for a while after the ceremony stopping at some beautiful places for photographs whilst the guests enjoyed drinks and canapés in the impressive Princess of Wales Conservatory. After that we moved to The Orangery – a stunning building with a white interior and exterior. The whole day was really sensational. Look:

An elegant affair.

Due to the cold spring this year, the colours weren’t quite as prominent as they should have been, but it’s still a beautiful place.

Love this one – look at the colour of that building!

Wedding Photographer: Villa Balbianello, Lake Como: John & Jade

Amy was the wedding photographer at Villa Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy for John & Jade’s wedding.

I absolutely love photographing weddings at Villa Balbianello, it’s just the most stunning of venues in a prime position on Lake Como. John & Jade got ready in separate apartments at Borgo Le Terrazze, a place with the most wonderful view of Lake Como. After taking a minibus down the hill and into Bellagio, John & the guests caught their boat to Villa Balbianello closely followed by a speed boat carrying the Bride, her Dad and the Bridesmaids, Flower Girls, Pageboys (and me!)

The ceremony took place underneath the loggia with views up and down the Lake. Aperitivi and photographs followed before the party sat down for the wedding breakfast. Back to the loggia afterwards for the party. Take a peek:

Wedding Photographer: Spirit Restaurant, Warrington, Cheshire: Anthony & Eloise

Amy was the wedding photographer at Spirit Restaurant, Warrington, Cheshire, UK for Anthony & Eloise’s wedding.

As a teenager, I was a gymnastic coach in my home-town Warrington. I coached Eloise when she was just 6 years old until she was 11 and so it was an absolute honour to photograph her as a Bride. The beautiful church of St Mary’s with its modern and light interior played host for the wedding ceremony and then we went on to newly-furbished Spirit Restaurant in Victoria Park.

Take a peak:

I spent half an hour with Anthony and the boys at Anthony’s parent’s house before they left for the church.
