Wedding Photographer: Villa di Ulignano, Tuscany: Paul & Carrie

Amy was the wedding photographer at Villa di Ulignano, Tuscany, Italy for Paul & Carrie’s wedding.

I hadn’t photographed a wedding at Villa di Ulignano before and so was very much looking forward to Paul & Carrie’s big day. And what a day! Temperatures were soaring in the high 30s but luckily the outdoor ceremony wasn’t until 5pm so it was just about bearable.

The spot where the ceremony took place was breath-taking as you’ll see below. After the ceremony, aperitivi were enjoyed at the front of the Villa followed by the wedding breakfast over-looking the beautiful Tuscan countryside around the pool area. The creative lighting made everywhere look magical and I loved the guests’ favours – personalised flip-flops all-round! Great day! Here we go:

Lovely bouquet detail. I loved the little ‘flowers’ baskets that the flowers were displayed in too.

Wedding Photographer: Siena Town Hall & Villa Dievole, Tuscany: Rob & Emily

Amy was the wedding photographer at Siena Town Hall & Villa Dievole, Tuscany, Italy for Rob & Emily’s wedding.

As soon as I had finished photographing Andy & Maria’s wedding at Lake Garda, I drove down to Tuscany and stayed close to Villa Dievole ready for the wedding of Rob & Emily the next day. Siena Wedding Planner and great friend of mine, Jacqueline Bradshaw had raved about Villa Dievole and I was really looking forward to seeing it for myself. Well, Jackie wasn’t wrong! Stunning, stunning, stunning. Beautiful Villa, beautiful surroundings and a breath-taking view.

Both Rob & Emily got ready at Villa Dievole then we all headed 20 minutes down the road for the ceremony at Siena Town Hall and drinks in the square before we headed back to the Villa for the evening. Siena Town Hall is still one of my favourite ceremony rooms to photograph in. Read on and see why:

Wedding Photographer: Malcesine Castle & La Voglia, Lake Garda: Andy & Maria

Amy was the wedding photographer at Malcesine Castle & La Voglia, Lake Garda, Italy for Andy & Maria’s wedding.

I’ve photographed so many weddings in the past at Malcesine Castle, up on Lake Garda, but had just the one to do this year so boy was I looking forward to it! It’s such a breath-taking spot and I really do love every minute of working there. Both Andy & Maria got ready at the impressive Hotel Vega and whilst Andy, the guests and I walked through Malcesine to the Castle, Maria and her Dad followed on afterwards in the town’s tuc-tuc.

Having received some dreadful news from home just the day before, Andy did amazingly well to keep smiling and really did enjoy his day despite the sadness. With a fun-loving smiler like Maria as his gorgeous new Bride to keep his head up and such wonderful guests the laughter could be heard throughout the beautiful little town of Malcesine!

After aperitivi on the Lake edge we jumped on a boat and toured the Lake for an hour before being dropped off at La Voglia restaurant in Val di Sogno. Here we go, look at the smiles in these photos:

Wedding Photographer: Villa Eva, Ravello, Amalfi Coast: Mark & Linzi

Amy was the wedding photographer at Villa Eva, Ravello, Amalfi Coast, Italy for Mark & Linzi’s wedding.

Having photographed many weddings in Ravello, I still hadn’t had the chance to photograph one in Ravello’s stunning cathedral, until now. Thank you so much to Mark & Linzi for giving me this chance and of course, the opportunity of photographing at Ravello’s beautiful Villa Eva for the second time this summer.

Mark got ready at The Giordano Hotel whilst just up the alleyway in Villa Maria, Linzi and her bridesmaids got ready. Close enough for me to skip between the two without losing too much time. The walk down to the Cathedral with the girls was great fun and the grandeur of the Duomo interior didn’t disappoint. After the ceremony, drinks in the piazza and some family photographs, we walked back up the path to the lovely Villa Eva. Here we go, have a nosey:
