Wedding photographer: The Glasshouse at Combermere Abbey & Wrenbury Hall, Cheshire, UK: Andy & Jodie

Andy & Amy were the wedding photographers at The Glasshouse at Combermere Abbey & Wrenbury Hall, Cheshire, UK for the wedding of Andy & Jodie.

We had a fantastic day with Andy & Jodie and their families & friends on Saturday.  They were married in The Glasshouse at Combermere Abbey and then we all made the short journey to Wrenbury Hall for their reception.  The weather was perfect – as you’ll see from the images, and we headed off home late in the evening after watching 50+ chinese lanterns get released into the night sky.

Here’s a glimpse of the day:

Everything was meticulously planned by Jodie – evidenced by the printed list and cap here :)

The back of the dress (more about the dress in a mo!)

Andy (centre) & his two bestmen – his brothers.

The lovely Jodie with Mum & Dad.

After the ceremony at The Glasshouse.  The happy couple and their guests chatted in this beautiful setting surrounded by an orchard maze.  (I did get stuck in it at one point – I’m still not convinced there’s a way through!)

Confetti.  We love this – especially with Andy’s Grandmother getting ‘stuck-in’ just to the left of them :)

Wrenbury Hall and evidence of the lovely British spring weather.

Fast-forward to the couple making their entrance into the stunning reception room.  I caught this moment as Jodie spotted their incredible chocolate cake on the way to their table.

Jodie’s stunning dress was designed & made by Louise at Beatrice Eve – a good friend of ours and a superbly-talented dressmaker.  We were under strict instructions to take at least one photograph with Jodie sitting down.  Here you go ;)

Chinese Lanterns everywhere!  An amazing sight to see so many of them high in the sky drifting off into the distance.

Wow – what a great time we had.  A quick thank you to Adrian, Andy & Sally who were so great with the video coverage and who proved that teamwork makes the photography/video so much easier to coordinate & to John the toastmaster who helped us in so many different ways :) – Andy
